Abstract: Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is a chronic, inherited disease characterized by ciliary dysfunction leading to defects in mucociliary clearance, thus causing upper and lower respiratory problems such as sinusitis and bronchiectasis as well as infertility.
