Abstract: The symmetrical and unsymmetrical pentaaza 2,6-oligopyridylimines, 6,6ЈЈ-[(2,6-iPr 2 C 6 H 3 )N=CMe] 2 -2,2Ј:6Ј,2ЈЈ-C 15 H 9 N 3 (L1) and 6-[(2,6-iPr 2 C 6 H 3 )N=CMe]-2,2Ј:6Ј,2ЈЈ:6ЈЈ,2ЈЈЈ-C 20 H 13 N 4 (L2), have been prepared in good yield using a combination of palladium (0)
