Abstract: Primary hyperaldosteronism is the leading cause of secondary arterial hypertension of adrenal origin. Its prevalence is underestimated. This leads to late diagnosis, although a timely diagnosis can achieve a complete cure for the patient, ensure control of blood pressure and avoid the development of complications.
