Process-based model estimation of N2O Emission factors for urine patches in a Swiss grazing system 

Abstract: <p>Nitrous oxide (N<sub>2</sub>O) is a powerful greenhouse gas (GHG) with a global warming potential about 300 times that of carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>). In Switzerland, N<sub>2</sub>O emissions contribute to about 6% of the total GHG emissions, agriculture being responsible for more than 60% of the former.
