Processing of Silicon Anodes by Aerosol Jet Printing

Abstract: Aerosol Jet® Printing is investigated as deposition technique for silicon as anode material for lithium-ion batteries. Binder free structures with silicon particles were deposited and galvanostaticly cycled. The morphological changes of the electrode were examined with SEM, Raman spectroscopy and x-ray photon spectroscopy (XPS).
