Produção De Maracujazeiro Amarelo No Solo Com Calcário E Potássio Sob Irrigação Com Água Salina

Abstract: The experiment was carried out in Coronel Ezequiel county, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, in order to evaluate the effects of limestone and chloride potassium in production components of yellow passion fruit plants and soil salinity, caused by irrigation with saline water of 3.6 dS m -1 during the dry season, and salt leaching of the soil promoted by waters of the rainy season. Treatments were arranged in randomized blocks using factorial design of 3 × 2, referring to three levels of limestone, 1.4, 2.5 and 3.6 … Show more

“…At 150 (Figure 2B) and 210 DAP (Figure 2C), there was a similar response to that observed at 90 DAP, but a 150 DAP the mean values of leaf water potential are probably due to the occurrence of rains in the period (Figure 1), which leached much of the salts from the root zone. This situation is consistent with the claim of Cavalcante et al (2018), who concluded that the waters of the rainy season promoted the leaching of salts from the root environment of plants. The mean values observed for the treatment without leaching fraction at salinity levels of 0.5 and 8.0 dS m -1 were -0.47 and -0.78 MPa, respectively, with a reduction of 66.38%.…”

“…The passion fruit crop is important for medium and small farmers, with economic relevance and income generation well distributed throughout the year (FURLANETO et al, 2011;SANTOS et al, 2017). In recent decades, its cultivation has expanded in the semi-arid regions of the Northeast, especially in rural areas of the State of Paraíba (AGUIAR et al, 2017;CAVALCANTE et al, 2018a).…”
