Abstract

Manufacturing engineering considers accuracy to be the degree to which parameters of a finished product conform to the dimensions, shape, and other characteristics specified in a technical drawing. A designer determines the level of manufacturing accuracy and surface roughness based on requirements to ensure the functional purpose of a product.
