Abstract: We investigated the optimal heating conditions (heating rate, rapid heating temperature range, and pressure) and blending ratio that can produce high-strength coke by using formed coals containing biomass and modified-biomass. As a result, the coke strength was increased by broadening the rapid heating temperature range.
