“…Mide kanserinin gebelikte görülme sıklığı %0,1'dir [2]. Gebelikte mide kanserinin tanısı oldukça zordur ve vakaların % 97'sinde tanı konulduğunda tümör ileri evrededir [3]. Mide kanserinin erken tanısı önemli olmakla birlikte gebelikte sık görülen epigastrik ağrı, bulantı-kusma, doygunluk hissi gibi gastrointestinal sistem semptomlar nedeniyle tanı koymakta güçlük çekilmek-tedir [2].…”

The frequency of pregnancy has been increasing in these women and this may lead to a higher coincidence of pregnancy and gastric cancer [2] . Pregnancy-associated gastric cancer is currently attributed to 0.1% of all cases [16] .…”

“…Moreover, gastric cancer associated with pregnancy is in itself an extremely rare occurrence. The available information on this subject is scarce and consists mainly of case reports and studies on large patient populations, in which some cases of pregnancy-associated malignancies are included [2][3][4][5] . Diagnosis is usually delayed due to non-specific symptoms that are often misinterpreted as pregnancy-associated.…”
