Abstract: Purely hadronic B decays are vital to the study of CP violation within and beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. One key contribution is the determination of of the CKM angle γ. In addition, very large direct CP violation has been observed in regions of phase space of multi-body hadronic decays, the description of which remains a significant challenge.
