Progressive nicotine poisoning by multiple transdermal nicotine patches

Abstract: The pharmacokinetic properties of transdermal nicotine patches (TNPs) are different from those of other routes of nicotine administration; further, acute nicotine poisoning by TNPs may present with different clinical features.
