Abstract: e16214 Background: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cancer portends a poor prognosis with a high case-fatality rate. Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common complication in PDAC, due expression of tissue factor on neoplastic cells.
