Proposed A.A.S. degree program in educational technology

Abstract: The increase in technology usage in educational settings has created a demand for low-level technical support. Stimulated by initiatives from federal and state governments, the demand is evident in job postings for technical support personnel in both educational and business environments. In each case, education and/or training aspects are central to these positions. In addition, there is a thriving "cottage industry" for technical support.
