Abstract:Aim: To develop a propranolol HCL-loaded liposomal nasal formulation for migraine prophylaxis. Materials & methods: Formulated the liposomes through thin layer hydration method and optimized via design of experiments (DOE). The prepared liposomes were characterized for particle size, zeta potential, PDI, drug entrapment and drug loading.
