Prospective, Observational Study to Assess a New Quick Absorbable Monofilament Suture for Skin Closure in Adults

Abstract: This is the first prospective, single centre study assessing the clinical outcome of a new quick, absorbable, monofilament suture for skin closure in adults after general surgical interventions. In total 50 patients were included in the study to apply Monosyn Quick suture to skin closure. Suture handling was evaluated by the surgeons using a 5-point Likert scale.
