Prospectively registered acute toxicity in breast cancer patients undergoing adjuvant intensity modulated proton therapy

Abstract: difference we found was on the knowledge-test, with a higher score in patients in the post-implementation arm (7.4 out of 11 points vs 6.1 out of 11).Conclusions: Use of the PtDA did result in better knowledge, suggesting a better informed choice. We found no differences in decisional conflict and on perception of SDM, between the pre-and post-implementation arms.
