Abstract:Chagas disease, caused by Trypanosoma cruzi (T. cruzi), affects millions worldwide, particularly in Latin America. Despite its prevalence, treatment options remain limited. Current drugs, such as benznidazole, cause adverse effects possibly due to ineffective administration.
