Proteomic profiling of Ganoderma tsugae ethanol extract‐induced adipogenesis displaying browning features

Abstract: Ganoderma is classified as a top grade traditional Chinese medicine for promoting human health by regulating 'vital energy'. Its potency towards metabolism and energy homeostasis, particularly, metabolic adaptations of adipocytes, needs to be re-evaluated through an evidence-based study. “…Our lab has used a PhytomicsQC system to examine the quality of different batches of GTEE 11 . Our previous studies have shown that cytotoxic concentration of GTEE on 3T3‐L1 (mouse embryo fibroblast) which IC 50 were not detected, 17 and on other cells, MRC‐5 (Human fetus lung normal fibroblast), WI‐38 (Human fetus lung normal fibroblast), and Hs68 (human foreskin fibroblast), which IC 50 were 0.5, 0.46, and >1 mg/mL, respectively (data not shown).
