Proton beam therapy for a giant hepatic hemangioma: A case report and literature review

Abstract: Highlights Proton beam therapy is likely to be safe for liver hemangiomas because, in our experience. Proton beam therapy achieves good local control for liver hemangiomas without causing severe hepatic damage. Proton beam therapy expected to minimize the risk of late adverse events.
