Proton Pump Inhibitors Are Not Associated With Acute Kidney Injury in Critical Illness

Abstract: Recent epidemiologic data linking proton pump inhibitor (PPI) use to acute and chronic kidney dysfunction is yet to be validated in other populations, and mechanisms have not been explored.
