Provider Perspectives on Advance Care Planning for Patients with Kidney Disease: Whose Job Is It Anyway?

Abstract: Background and objectives There is growing interest in efforts to enhance advance care planning for patients with kidney disease. “…As part of an ongoing qualitative study designed to identify opportunities to enhance ACP for patients with kidney disease at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle (VAPSHCS), Washington (36), we learned about the experiences of family members and friends identified by enrolled patients.
