“…Most of them were involved in the process of TPP and (with the exception of Colombia) are currently part of the CP-TPP. The lessons learned, or spillover effects of TPP in terms of digital trade can be perceived in the number of digital trade provisions fostered by this bloc that illustrate a dynamism that is absent in MERCOSUR and other trade agreements in the region (including CA-UE; CA Mexico and DR-CAFTA) (Bustos, 2018; Monteiro and Teh, 2017).
