Pseudo-residual nidus after arteriovenous malformation surgery: illustrative case

Abstract: BACKGROUND Intraoperative indocyanine green video angiography (ICG-VA) is useful for determining the extent of lesion removal during cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) surgery. The authors described a case of surgical removal of an AVM presenting with early venous filling mimicking a residual nidus on intraoperative ICG-VA.
