Abstract: Pseudohypertrophy of the extensor digitorum communis muscle. A, In the clinical photograph, the EDB stands out on the proximal dorsolateral foot border (arrow). There are additional findings of chronic diabetic polyneuropathy, including trophic skin changes (xerosis, loss of hair) and mild clawing of the toes.
