Pseudomonas that Causes Otitis in Dogs: An Increasing Opposition

Abstract: Article HistoryThis study investigated the prevalence and antibiotic susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from canine otitis externa in Baghdad, Iraq. Twelve ear swabs were collected from symptomatic dogs between October 2021 and February 2022. Identification of P. aeruginosa isolates was confirmed by a combination of phenotypic (morphology, Gram stain, biochemical tests) and genotypic (Vitek2 and PCR) methods.
