Pseudoprogression in a patient with relapsed medulloblastoma after intensive chemotherapy and craniospinal irradiation. A clinical observation and literature review

Abstract: High-dose chemotherapy (HDCT) with autologous hemopoietic stem cell transplantation (auto-HSCT) is currently an integral part of a standard of care for younger medulloblastoma (MB) patients and MB patients with relapse. As HDCT regimens are characterized by neurotoxicity, it may add to the one of radiation therapy.
