PSO-based Secondary Frequency Control and Active Power Sharing

Abstract: A novel secondary control for restoring the system frequency in a distributed manner with incremental cost based droop-controlled microgrids (MGs) is presented in this paper. The proposed control ensures the frequency restoration and accurately share the active power in an optimal way simultaneously.
