Abstract:BALB/c mice elicited specific cell-mediated immunity after transplantation with CT26 cells stably expressing human telomerase reverse transcriptase (CT26(hTERT#10)). Restingmemory T cells were reactivated in vitro by CT26(hTERT#10) cells and PTD-J-hTERTepi recombinant proteins, in which the polypeptide hTERTepi comprised TH and TC epitopes, as indicated by interferon γ (IFNγ) secretion. Preand post-injections of PTD-J-hTERTepi with in vitro expanded and differentiated dendritic cells reduced CT26(hTERT#10) tum… Show more
“…Furthermore, mice pre-treated or post-treated with PTD-J-hTERTepi could diminish the transplanted CT26 (hTERT#10) tumor more quickly than the untreated control. Hsp72 could enhance this effect significantly in the post-treatment cases [6]. It is curious how could Hsp72 augment both humoral and cellular immunity?…”
Concept proving papers upon a PTD-J-X antigen presenting system were reported recently. The X antigen segment of the recombinant protein could be simply built up to elicit humoral and/or cellular immunity, specifically and effectively.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
