Abstract: is a woman who is attacked with puerperal metritis. The disease first appeared at the Maternity Hospital, where the woman was delivered. She tells us that, having suffered a good deal of distress from her position in life, her pregnancy was accompanied from the commencement by a malaise, nearly constant ; and that when it had reached the seventh month, she suffered so much that she determined on entering the Maternity, where she was soon afterwards delivered.
