Abstract:Histoplasmosis has worldwide distribution, occurring most commonly in North, Central, and South America, as well as parts of Africa and Asia [1, 2]. Histoplasmosis is a granulomatous disease caused by a dimorphic fungus Histoplasma capsulatum (H. capsulatum).
