“…Also, different products can be obtained by controlling surface structures, such as acid–base sites [ 76–78 ] and organic groups. [ 79,80 ] Since 2009, several new photocatalytic systems have been proposed gradually, including g‐C 3 N 4 , [ 81–90 ] CdS, [ 90–99 ] BiOCl, [ 100–102 ] and BiOIO 3 . [ 103 ] Synthetic strategies for various nano‐/microstructure were also developed, such as quantum dots (QDs), [ 104–106 ] nanowires (NWs), [ 107–109 ] nanosheets, [ 110–112 ] and heterostructures.…”

“…The active material (g-C 3 N 4 -425) has converted NaHCO 3 saturated CO 2 gas to CO with a yield of B1.14 mmol g À1 in 3 h using 1 wt% Au as a co-catalyst under a 300 W xenon lamp ( Table 3, entry 23). 188 S. Wan et al have prepared hexagonal tubular carbon nitride by the heat treatment of the supra-molecular organization of the in situ hydrogenbonded melamine cyanuric acid assembly under hydrothermal conditions. Hydrogen fluoride is found to be the best suitable haloic acid (H-X; X = F, Cl, Br, I) that promotes the dissolution of melamine, which eventually facilitated the pi-pi stacking as evidenced by the intense EPR spectra.…”

“…Recently, we reported the covalent grafting of a pyrene functional group onto a PCN backbone, giving a product of Py–PCN. [ 127 ] The two‐step solvothermal synthetic procedure of Py–PCN is shown in Figure . The pyrene moieties are covalently linking with the tri‐s‐triazine rings on the PCN surface, as proved by the solid‐state 13 C NMR spectrum showing a signature peak at 123.1 ppm corresponding to the aromatic carbon of pyrene.…”
