Abstract:Nozzle clogging in roll gap lubrication (RGL) is a pain area for hot strip steel rolling. Nozzle clogging severely affects lubrication affecting rolled surface quality causing prominent hot rolling defects like banding and peel-off phenomenon in work roll.
