Quality indicators in hemodialysis: A 5‐year experience of national campaigns in France

Abstract: Background: End stage kidney disease (ESKD) is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Hemodialysis (HD) is the main technique used for kidney replacement therapy. Dialyzed patients are expected to live less than one half as long as their counterparts without ESKD. Improving quality of care may help to improve mortality in this population.
