“…Patients with DSPN from both groups (with and without neuropatic pain) had the best scores in physical funcioning (PF) domain. Similar findings were obtained by Wasserman et al, as well as in our work from 2014 (20,21). Such a good result for PF in our patients is due to the fact that DSPN is predominantly sensory polyneuropathy in which motor fibers are long preserved and that patients with significant comorbidities were excluded.…”
