“…The formalized constraint (5) is quite similar to the model discussed in (Chua et al, 2010), while the form (6) is more close to the criteria presented in (Chavada et al, 2012). Indeed, if three activities A 1 , A 2 , A 3 utilise the same resource r in the same workspace w throughout the same duration with respective Main disadvantage of the reduced representation (6) compared with the general form (5) is that even a short time overlay of the workspaces with relatively high utilisation factors may lead to a breach of the congestion conditions although unlikely that such workspace conflicts could not be resolved in practice.…”

“…La congestión espacial temporal es posible cuantificarla en base a los indicadores DSI, que mide el riesgo en un trabajo local y entrega soluciones locales; y el CPI que permite tomar una ventaja de tiempo cualquiera para evaluar, analizar y comparar la acumulación de des-utilidad de cada entidad espacial (Chua et al, 2010).…”

“…Present methods rely on visualisation of changes to construction sequences using 4D CAD, which relies on the experience of Planners to elicit conflicts. The indicators developed by Chua, et al (2010) complements this visualisation aspect of 4D CAD, by allowing the construction sequencing and its corresponding activities to be identified and subsequently analysed quantitatively.…”

“…Despite the availability of the above methodologies, quantification methodologies for workspace conflict detection are limited, and this lack results in a lack of resolution frameworks for workspace congestion issues. Chua, et al (2010) provided such a quantification method for capturing workspace congestions from a 4D CAD model of worksite operations. The value of the quantification method lies in allowing Planners to decide on an optimal schedule to reduce dynamic workspace conflicts, hence reducing the risk of schedule overrun arising from workspace clashes.…”
