Abstract: Probiotics are increasingly popular, currently. Probiotics have been described with the ability to treat many disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)and Crohns disease. Types of probiotics include bacterial strains from Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium.
