Quantitative Characterization of Interfacial Defects in Thermal Barrier Coatings by Long Pulse Thermography

Abstract: The non-contact long pulse thermography method is commonly used to detect the defects in thermal barrier coatings (TBCs). The profile of interfacial defect in TBCs can be monitored by infrared camera under the irradiation of the excitation source.
