Quantitative Detection of Internal Defects in Automotive Tires by an Interferographic Technique

Abstract: Because of to the advantages of high sensitivity, nondestructive evaluation, and whole-field analysis, the interferographic technique is superior to other nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques. In this article, precut cracks 25 mm and 40 mm long that did not cut through the tire and that extended in different directions inside the tire were made.
