“…Calcium silicate slag is the secondary solid waste generated in the process of extracting alumina from high alumina fly ash, with 2.2~2.5 tons of calcium silicate slag produced per ton of Al 2 O 3 alumina, and 2.5 tons of fly ash consumed [ 13 ]. Long term CSS accumulation not only wastes a significant amount of land resources and causes air pollution, but, additionally, because it becomes alkaline itself, it will gradually alkalize the surrounding land in a humid environment, causing the loss of soil nutrients and polluting groundwater resources [ 14 ].
