Quantum Chemistry-ANN Methods Study on <i>T</i>g of Polyacrylates

Abstract: Themechanismandaffectingfactorsoftheglasstransitionforpolymershavebeenanalyzed.The structuralunitsofthirty鄄eightpolyacrylateshavebeenoptimizedandtheirquantumchemicaldescriptorshave beenobtainedbyDFT/6鄄31G(d) method.Thecalculatedresultsindicatethatthelengthofsidechain,numberofside chains,polarizability,dipolemoment, E HOMO , heatcapacityatconstantvolume,andthermalenergyarethemain factorsaffectingglasstransitiontemperature(T g).
