QCA (Quantum-dot Cellular Automata) technology is an innovative technology based on quantum principles and uses quantum dots as the basic units for information transfer. This technology enables the fabrication of electronic circuits at high speed, lower power consumption and smaller size. For this reason, in this article, for the first time, three types of counters are designed in QCA technology with the least cell and the smallest area. First, Johnson ring counter with 132 cells, area of 0.16 μm^2 and a delay of 2 clock cycles, then synchronous counter with 192 cells and area of 0.2 μm^2 and finally synchronous with reset capability with 267 cells and area of 0.27 μm^2 is designed. Also, the improvement percentage of the number of cells and the area of the proposed designs compared to different authorities is %25.82 and %35, respectively. As a result, the proposed designs are among the most optimal designs among different authorities. All the simulations were done in QCAPro and QCADesigner version 2.0.3 softwares.
