Abstract

Elastic scattering of electrons by krypton atoms is considered using the R-matrix method. Phaseshifts, differential, integral and momentum transfer cross sections are reported for electron impact energies in the range 0.01-16 eV.The free-free absorption cot'fficient of the negative ion of krypton is also calculated for wavelengths longer than 1500 A and for a wide range of temperatures.
