Quantum entanglement for two qubits in a nonstationary cavity

Abstract: The quantum entanglement and the probability of the dynamical Lamb effect for two qubits caused by non-adiabatic fast change of the boundary conditions are studied. The conditional concurrence of the qubits for each fixed number of created photons in a nonstationary cavity is obtained as a measure of the dynamical quantum entanglement due to the dynamical Lamb effect. We discuss the physical realization of the dynamical Lamb effect, based on superconducting qubits.

“…The Dynamical Lamb Effect, introduced in [545], consists of the excitation of atoms inside a cavity with moving walls, without creation of real photons in the cavity. For further studies, one can consult papers [348,349,523,[533][534][535][546][547][548].…”

“…Ref. [49] considered a generation of entanglement of two qubits in absence of energy dissipation under the nonadiabatic modulation of cavity frequency leading to the dynamical Casimir effect [52][53][54]. This parametric process is able to create finite quantum concurrence, but it remains weak in the limit of a weak qubit-cavity interaction and in the case of a single switching of a cavity frequency.…”

“…With such an effect, interesting phenomena also arise in quantum electrodynamics in a cavity such as the dynamic Lamb effect (see Refs. [26,33] and references therein). In fact, quantum entanglement should appear immediately upon the above-described appearance of intervalley excitons after pumping with linearly polarized light.…”

“…Recently, the conditional concurrence created by the dynamical Lamb effect of two qubits within a microcavity which changes its frequency suddenly was calculated [26]. In this paper, we follow the same protocol, and find the concurrence created by two pseudomagnetic excitons on a graphene sheet under strain embedded in a microcavity interacting with one of its modes in the rotating wave approximation (RWA).…”
