Quantum entanglement in the tJ chain: From charge-spin separation to recombination

Abstract: In contrast to the conventional von Neumann bipartite entanglement entropy (bEE), we show that a more appropriate description of the one-dimensional doped Mott insulator is a new kind of mutual entanglement entropy (mEE) between the charge and spin degrees of freedom. Such a charge-spin mEE can clearly distinguish the important and distinct features between the t-J model and the so-called σ · t-J model.
