Abstract:Within the framework of a phenomenological quantization scheme, we present the quantization of the electromagnetic field in the presence of a moving absorptive and dispersive magneto-dielectric slab (MDS) with uniform velocity in the direction parallel to its interface. We derive the quantum input-output relations for the case that quantum states propagate perpendicularly to the moving MDS.
