Abstract:The low energy electron–ion Coulomb bremsstrahlung process is investigated in dense high-temperature plasmas including quantum-mechanical effects. An effective pseudopotential model taking into account both quantum-mechanical effects and plasma screening effects is applied to describe the electron–ion interaction potential in dense high-temperature plasmas. The straight-line trajectory method is applied to the motion of the projectile electron in order to investigate the variation of the bremsstrahlung radiati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
