Radiation and thermal diffusion effects on an unsteady MHD free convection mass-transfer flow past an infinite vertical porous plate with the hall current and a heat source

Abstract: UDC 536.25 An analysis is performed to study the effects of radiation and thermal diffusion on an unsteady MHD free convection heat-and mass-transfer flow of an incompressible, electrically conducting, viscous fluid past an infinite vertical porous plate with the Hall current and a heat source. The flow is considered under the influence of a constant suction velocity and a uniform magnetic field applied normally to the flow. The dimensionless governing equations are solved numerically by the Galerkin finite el… Show more

“…They found out that there must be exponential decay in internal heat generation with the classical variable of similarity for finding a real similar solution. Reddy and Rao (2011) examined the Soret effect on unstable MHD free convection transfer flow of mass and heat past an infinite vertical permeable plate in conjunction with the Hall current, heat source, and consequent thermal radiation. Pal and Talukdar (2012) have detailed the impact that the thermal radiation and the chemical reaction of first-order could have on unstable MHD convective transfer flow of mass and heat along with the Soret effect of a viscous fluid past a semi-infinite vertical flat plate when heat source and oscillatory suction are present.…”

“…Krishna and Reddy [3] studied the convection associated with the unstable MHD free-flow of the boundary moving through the medium. Prabhakar-Reddy also Anand-Rao [4] demonstrated the influence of radioactivity also heat on MHD free-standing channels passing through an infinite wall plate with Hall current and heat source. Rashad et al [5] performed a study of a unique stationary tube located on a solid line with a vertical cylinder mounted in a non-Darcy Nano fluid-saturated filter.…”
