Abstract:Key Clinical MessageEndometrioid ovarian adenocarcinoma is a common subtype of epithelial ovarian cancer that can arise on a background of endometriosis. Maximal cytoreductive effort with an aim to remove all macroscopic disease (achieve R0) is the single independent prognostic factor for survival. Complex multidisciplinary surgeries may be required in order to achieve this.
