Abstract:Radiochemical activation analysis is a more laborious analytical method than instrumental analysis, but can be used to determine elements at lower concentrations. In most cases, the sample to be analyzed is separated into groups of elements rather than individual elements, so that the elements do not interfere with one another during the measurement of radionuclides content. Schemes for separation into multielement groups are given for metals, biological, geological and environmental samples.
