Abstract:Quantum fields propagating on quantum spacetime of a collapsing homogeneous dust ball explore a (semiclassical) dressed geometry. When the backreaction of the field is discarded, the classical singularity is resolved due to quantum gravity effects and is replaced by a quantum bounce on the dressed collapse background. In the presence of the backreaction, the emergent (interior) dressed geometry becomes mode-dependent which scales as radiation. Semiclassical dynamics of this so-called rainbow, dressed backgroun… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
